Canadian airports, small and large across the country, have been facing cost uncertainty and cost increases for just about every expense, whether it be labour, energy, or environment-related. The bulk of energy use, up to 80% of electricity costs, is used by HVAC systems. Another challenge for airports is maintaining indoor air quality for passengers
